Camp List — Nationwide Campground & RV Park Search
For everyone

Accessibility

Camp List aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If something is in your way, tell us.

Our commitment

We build Camp List to work for the widest possible range of visitors — including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, high-contrast modes, or assistive touch. Every new page ships with accessibility review, and we test regularly with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS + iOS).

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML across every page — headings in order, landmarks labelled.
  • Colour contrast tested against WCAG AA on both light and dark backgrounds.
  • Focus rings kept visible; keyboard navigation supported everywhere.
  • Every image on the site has meaningful alt text.
  • Forms have proper labels and error messages that read out to screen readers.

Known issues we're working on

  • The interactive map view is not yet fully keyboard-navigable. Use the list view as a keyboard-friendly alternative.
  • Some scraped park photos may be missing meaningful alt text — we're backfilling.

Tell us if we've missed something

Real accessibility is a moving target. If you hit a wall, email trust@camplist.us with the page URL and what happened — we prioritise these fixes.
